bilding is a fantastic story and a great collective success for everyone involved in the creation process. The acceptance among the population, the constantly increasing number of children and young people in the bilding programs, the many curious visitors day in and day out and the fantastically pleasant working at bilding reflect this success.
But of course it still fills us with satisfaction It is with great pleasure that the way in which bilding was created and built is recognized by top-class juries and awarded with renowned architecture prizes.
The greatest joy, however, is that we receive these awards with all those who support us with great commitment who have supported us with their knowledge and skills, their capital and their strength.

From a total of 100 submissions, bilding was one of 6 awarded buildings to receive the renowned nationwide builder’s award. The prize is awarded annually and honors personalities or groups of people who have made a special contribution to building culture in Austria as builders, clients or mentors. The focus is on the architectural design and innovative character. The buildings are intended to make a positive contribution to improving the living environment and exemplary cooperation between builders and architects has led to exceptional solutions.

Every two years, the state, together with the Chamber of Architects, awards exemplary buildings. From the 70 projects submitted to the competition in 2016, two awards and four recognitions were given to buildings that meet the criterion of a particularly exemplary approach to the architectural challenges of our time, both in aesthetic and innovative terms.

The Department of Interior Design and Sustainable Design of the Institute of Architecture and Design at the TU Vienna organizes the international competition for students – BLUE AWARD – biennially and together with the Association for Architecture and Interior Design. The award recognizes contributions to sustainability in architecture, spatial and urban planning. This year, more than 200 projects from 34 countries were submitted, from which the jury selected 15 designs for the award ceremony; bilding was awarded a special prize in the area of timber construction. Niklas Nalbach, Tobias Dorsch and Ufuk Sagir accepted the award on behalf of everyone at the World Congress of Timber in Vienna City Hall.
1st prize at the Rosenheim Wood Construction Prize

The RosenheimKreis e. V. announced the Rosenheim Wood Construction Prize for the fourth time this year. The competition for architecturally high-quality wooden buildings from the region has been held with great success since 2006. All interested builders, architects and plan authors from the southeast Bavarian area, the city of Munich and the surrounding area, the Salzburger Land and Tyrol can take part.
